We aim to empower generations of female thinkers with the entrepreneurship and leadership mindset.

Our Girl leadership and entrepreneurship clubs’ gives girls in secondary schools opportunities to contribute actively to global issues, develop their leadership skills, build confidence and inspires girl-led enterprises.

GCAF as an organization is teaching young women -mostly high-school-age students how to think like leaders and entrepreneurs. The Girls leadership and entrepreneurship club (GLEC) has exposed more than 150,000 students to the power of the entrepreneurship mindset.

GLEC curriculum is different because our educators and volunteers don’t just lecture or assign work. Our educators guide students through the stages of launching a business. For example, after the training, girl members can buy wholesale goods, retail their products and write business and marketing plans.

The first step in the GLEC mindset is that we lead our girls to discover and recognize first an opportunity.

The school’s clubs also gives us a powerful opportunity to highlight the particular needs and rights of girls, and to advocate for greater action and investment to enable girls to reach their full potential.

Some of the advocacy and learning programs are;

  • School visits by educators, Volunteers;
  • Club formation and meetings;
  • Product development, writing business and marketing plans;
  • Creative activities;
  • Mentorship activities;
  • Excursions.
